This comes down to application every time, dependant on the motorcycle, other intake and exhaust mods, and many other factors. For bikes with catalytic converters still installed, most of the Kelpi pipes will be passable in terms of dB levels. That said, all of our pipes can be fitted with internal mini-cat baffles to reduce the volume or increase backpressure. The Alpha pipe is highly recommended for anyone looking to have a more tame sounding muffler (but only with the baffle in). There are as many different sets of rules as there are regions across the world, and at the end of the day, it’s the rider’s responsibility to comply with relevant local laws."
